Scottish tour, 1913 - Bob Tame - This letter tells of a trip to Edinburgh and Scotland by Thomas Henry James in August 1913. The journey took almost six hours by train from Seaham to Edinburgh. The item was sent to his second wife who had recently had a baby. (Thomas's ninth child and her second). Within the copy, Thomas complains about the paving in Edinburgh - this was because he had a wooden leg following an accident in a railway works.
